The Boonville Area Chamber of Commerce has been actively serving and representing our members’ businesses and community for over 105 years. We strive to preserve and further enhance our area’s exceptional quality of life by being an active leader and a voice for commerce, civic and general interest of our region.

The Chamber is a voluntary organization of small and large businesses, professionals and interested individuals who join together to advance the interest of the community. We bring businesses together through networking events and provide opportunities in communications and marketing, business development, educational programs and numerous other programs and services.

The Chamber has a staffed office located at the historic MKT Railroad Depot. The depot was built in 1912. It is the only surviving Spanish Mission style depot on the Missouri, Kansas, Texas Railroad line. The Boonville Chamber of Commerce became partners in preservation with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and the Missouri Department of Transportation to combine efforts to refurbish and reopen the depot to the public in 1997. Part of the MKT Railroad line is now a 250-mile long state hiking and biking trail known as the Katy Trail State Park that runs from St Charles to Clinton. It is the longest rail to trail development in the nation and is inducted into the Rail-Trail Hall of Fame.
