Boonville Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors
Grow your business while you help grow the chamber! Chamber Ambassadors
promote their businesses by participating in ribbon cuttings, volunteering for
community events and serving as greeters at Chamber events and socials. The
Ambassadors also act as a guide for new businesses and new members to help
them get involved in the chamber. They are our business community’s biggest
advocate.
The Ambassadors consist of local business leaders and representatives from our
Chamber member businesses.

Whether it’s opening a new office or promoting a new product, these ceremonial
events are available to all Boonville Area Chamber of Commerce members to
celebrate big and small accomplishments in their businesses.

Roles:
-Ribbon cuttings – Honor fellow Chamber members by attending ribbon cuttings for
member businesses.
-Chamber Spotlight – Surprise and celebrate fellow Chamber members by attending monthly spotlight events.
-Hospitality – Personally welcome everyone who attends Chamber events and help create a
positive experience.
-Networking – Support the Chamber’s networking and social programing through
participating and inviting members and guests to events.
-Volunteering – Representing the Chamber at community events.
Promoting Chamber engagement through business or personal social media platforms.
-New Member Mentoring – Reach out to new members to answer questions, be a friendly
face and encourage their participation.
– Refer non-members to Chamber staff to visit with about membership.
-Assist Chamber by keeping member records up-to-date by visiting with current members
via phone, email and in-person visits.

Membership Requirements:
-Attend Chamber networking and social events as able.
-Attend ribbon cuttings and spotlights as able.
-Serve as a volunteer as needed at Chamber functions.
-Business of staff member must be a Chamber member. Chamber dues must be current
and paid within 30 days of the due date.
-Ambassadors may serve more than one year, and their participation will be evaluated on
their activity in the program throughout the year.
-It is recommended that Ambassadors have been employed a minimum of 6 months with
their company to apply. This will allow for potential applicants to become familiar with
their jobs and can determine if they can make the time commitment.
